Welcome to My Music (“App”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what limited data the App and its third-party providers process, how, and why.

The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data.
On-device only (never sent to servers):
- Local music files & metadata (title, artist, album, artwork) to build your library and play audio.
- App preferences & settings (theme, equalizer presets, playback options).
Data collected by third-party SDKs (Ads/Measurement): If ads are enabled, we use Google AdMob, which may collect Advertising ID, IP address, device info, and ad interactions. This data helps deliver, cap, and measure ads and prevent fraud.

3. How We Use Data
Core features: play audio, manage playlists, remember settings. Advertising (if enabled): show banner/interstitial ads and detect invalid traffic. We do not use or share user data for any other purpose.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data. Ad data is processed by Google AdMob and its partners under their policies.
5. Permissions (Why We Ask)
- Media/Audio Library: to scan and play your local music files.
- Notifications: for playback controls.
- Network Access: to load ads or open-licensed metadata.
- Bluetooth (optional): for auto-play on device connect.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your Choices & Controls
- Reset/disable your Advertising ID in device settings.
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data.
- Manage permissions from system settings.
8. Security
We rely on Android’s platform protections and Google’s secure SDKs. We do not store personal data server-side.
9. Data Retention
All app data stays on your device until you uninstall the app. AdMob retains logs per their own policies.
10. International Transfers
AdMob/Google may process limited ad data on servers outside your country under their privacy safeguards.
11. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Consent: personalized ads. Legitimate interests: non-personalized ads & fraud prevention.
12. CCPA/CPRA (California)
We do not sell your information. AdMob may process identifiers for advertising, per Google’s privacy terms.

Data Deletion
- Uninstalling the app deletes all playlists, cache, and preferences.
- Clear app data anytime from: Settings → Apps → My Music → Storage → Clear Data.
Delete Account – My Music
My Music does not create or manage accounts. The app functions entirely offline. There is no sign-in, and no user data is stored externally.
Local Data Deletion
All app data is local. Uninstalling or clearing data removes it permanently. No information is retained after deletion.
